An inaugural league champion with the 2003 Mugaz, Dioufi transferred over to the Revenue Stealers in 2005 to provide some veteran savvy. He did that with aplomb with 2 Conference championships and an appearance in the 2007 final. Dioufi was not an outstanding individual talent but a key team player for the Stealers until his demise at the hands of the bloodthirsty Gha'rosh Bloodfist.
Kaneris N'Gillthrog: Allstars

A player who never missed a game in his 5 and a half year career, Sirius was typical of the buccaneering style of the Savages. Making plays when they couldn't possibly work yet pulling something out of the bag yet giving up turnovers in near equal measure. Sirius was killed on a typically heroic play as he leapt in for a tackle only to be splatted from behind by Kaneris.
Verkampf "Rat Destroyer": Allstars
Most Blocks 2006, 2007, Most Downs 2007, All Pro 2007, All Conf 2006, 2007, 32 SPPs, 1 TD, 12 CAS, 1 Rush for 8 Yards, 265 Blocks, 130 Downs, 12 Tackles, 2 Falls, 33 Stands, 1 Fumble, 301 Turns
A truly brutal player who led the league in blocking for two years and in just 24 games became his franchise's leader in all blocking categories. Vargash was a menacing force every time he stepped onto the field. He had found the going a little more difficult in his 3rd season and lasted just beyond half way when he finally met his match in the form of Verkampf. The Saurus ganging up with 2 other players to Vargash to death, no thanks to poor medical support on the sideline.
A doctor of relatively little repute was targeted for death by the fans of the Croydon Chav-Punchers in one of two Mass Invasions during the game.

"The" Crazy Frog: Panzer

13 SPPs, 4 CAS, 259 Blocks, 150 Downs, 2 Tackles, 2 Dodges, 2 Falls, 53 Stands, 3 Fumbles, 2 Fouls, 1 Damage, 580 Turns
Despite a long career, Snurg was not really a game changer in any of his many appearances. Plugging the line and bringing physicality was not enough when he was outmatched by Brian Irongut of the Fabienettes and killed by a straight up manly block.
Killed on the opening kickoff of his first ever game by a rock thrown from the Legends supporters, we'll never know what Dogstar could have done.
Willy Thompson: Stupidity
1 Stand, 2 Turns
One of the shortest careers on record saw Starscream killed in his first game against a brutal Stupidity side. Blood Bowl clearly wasn't this player's calling.

The most solid and reliable of the Punchers notoriously fragile line of scrimmage, Prime was by far the most Standing Punchers player at the time of his death in the 2007 post-season, setting a new single-season mark. Birchy Feathernest had towered over Prime to deliver a crunching downward blow that even the Chaos Dwarf's genuine resilience could not cope with.
Terrell Knowings: Mutineers
ADA South Champion 2006, 2007, 11 SPPs, 2 TDs, 4 Rushes for 23 Yards, 3 Receptions from 3 Attempts for 15 Yards, 30 Blocks, 14 Downs, 8 Dodges, 2 Falls, 24 Stands, 3 Fumbles, 226 Turns

Kazek "The Impolite": PAIN
10 Blocks, 5 Downs, 4 Dodges, 2 Falls, 10 Stands, 1 Fumble

One of the minor players on the unbeaten Stealers squad of 2005, de Leon was fulfilling his less glamorous role trying to hold up the Mutineers attack when Kotek Gorefest provided the true meaning of keeping one's head on a swivel with a horned-head first blow that Ponce was unable to recover from.

Dirk was a regular starter for the 2006 expansion Delight franchise that took the ADA South title that season and advanced to the wildcard round of the post-season. 9 SPPs, 2 CAS, 38 Blocks, 24 Downs, 16 Stands, 3 Fouls, 2 Downs, 1 Fumble
The loyal Lee served as the PAIN Corp's main hole plugger on the front line, taking on the opposition's most powerful players. One of the few players to come out of the horrific Gadfathers 2005 season with any credit, "Slippery" wasjoint second in tackles during the 05 season. Fulfilling more of a blocking role in 2006, he was carrying out his duty when hit by a decent block from Ponce de Leon. Unfortunately Apothecary Dr Death had already been killed so no medical treatment was available and Steve died.
The second coaching staff member and second Apothecary to die in the league was the first to be killed by opposition fans. Indeed he was the first person from the Rebellion franchise to find himself in the shrine after being targeted by an invasion of Stealers fans.
1 Referee Award
The third referee to die in the line of duty, Slain was promoted to the active list in 2006 but lasted only two games that season before he was killed by Missiles fans as he led the teams onto the pitch for a match against the Panzerbourne. Slain had never sent any players off.

The second player to be killed by Fido Muncher in his brutal match, Roger Taylor looked a promising player when he passed for 11 yards in his first ever game but the league will miss out on seeing what could have been.
Fido Muncher: Darkstalkers
1 Block, 1 Down, 3 Dodges, 1 Stand
A player who never had a chance to make much of an impact, Nick Mason was the first of two players killed by Fido Muncher in a single game. Mason's career stats nearly rival those of Viryvan von Sted as he struggled to make an impact on the expansion Legends side.
5 SPPs, 1 Reception from 1 Attempt for 0 Yards, 4 Blocks, 1 Down, 10 Dodges, 2 Falls, 7 Stands, 2 Fouls, 2 Damage, 1 Fumble
Roy was never much of a player having been a member of the Fabienettes team between 2003-2005 he made 0 appearances in 2005 and left to join the Savages. He had made only two turns worth of impact in his Savages career when he was trampled to death by Mugaz fans.

Gha'rosh Bloodfist : PAIN
7 SPPs, 1 CAS, 25 Blocks, 13 Downs, 1 Dodge, 2 Falls, 14 Stands, 1 Foul, 1 Damage
Doug was a player of no great note on the wooden spoon Gadfathers team in 2005. His 2006 season was even worse as he was killed in the second game when medical attention failed after he had attempted to butt heads with Gha'rosh Bloodfist and come off considerably worse.
13 SPPs, 1 TD, 2 Rushes for 17 Yards, 1 Passing Attempt, 1 Reception for 4 Yards, 23 Blocks, 13 Downs, 20 Stands

At the very end of his third season, Stinky was let down by his medical staff after having been crushed under the spiked boot of Garek Hornskull. Stinky had been a key part of the Savages franchise for the duration of his career and was the top career scorer for his side at the time of his death. Many consider Stinky to have been the best player of the first three seasons for the Savages. Despite dying, Stinky was named All-West for the second time at the end of the 2005 season.
All-East 2004, 21 SPPs, 1 TD, 4 CAS, 2 MVPs, 1 Reception from 1 Attempt for 6 Yards, 56 Blocks, 23 Downs, 1 Tackle, 5 Dodges, 4 Falls, 23 Stands, 5 Fouls, 4 Damage, 3 Fumbles
Nearly a three season veteran, Kane was part of the terrible 2003 Mercenaries side bought out by The Darkstalkers but was able to forge a Blood Bowl career, mainly through his personal leadership ability. Career highpoint was being named All-East 2004. One skill clearly lacking though was being able to keep upright in traffic. His 4th and final fall was a fatal head-first drop sandwiched between a couple of Mutineers players.
Horny Wildman: Wildman
5 SPPs, 1 MVP, 26 Blocks, 21 Downs, 10 Stands
A tough and accurate blocker, Uruk looked to be well on his way to a successful Blood Bowl career but it was cut short in his rookie season by Horny Wildman. The block was thrown with so much force that even Wildman's famed powers of regeneration could not save him. Mr Wildman's 15 CAS makes him by far the most violent player to have died in the line of duty to date.
Stealers and Gadfathers Fans
3 Ref Awards, 1 Sending Off, 3 Fouls
Skratcha was pulled apart in a truly brutal manner by both the Revenue Stealers fans and The Gadfathers fans at the same time. Bill Barrington: PAIN
4 Blocks, 2 Downs, 1 Dodge, 4 Stands
A rookie in his first ever match. Nerys becomes the player with the shortest career to date (9 Turns). The fatality was a combination of "Balls" Barrington and some inadequate medical attention as the Revenue Stealers found that not all of their staff were ready for league action.
24 SPPs, 16 CMPs, 2 MVPs, 16 Rushes for 73 Yards, 16 Passes from 17 Attempts for 43 Yards, 23 Blocks, 12 Downs, 3 Tackles, 7 Dodges, 3 Falls, 7 Stands, 1 Foul, 1 Damage, 10 Fumbles
Also killed in the second Mass Invasion of the 2005 final, a match that some say is the most brutal to date. Lisa was in the top ten for Completions in both of her seasons in the league and a top ten for pass yards in 2003. The range of stats showed her versatility but was not enough to escape the carnage of that final.
Eastern Conf Champ 2003, 10 SPPs, 2 MVPs, 16 Blocks, 4 Downs, 1 Dodge, 12 Stands
Killed by the second Mass Invasion of the 2005 final, Remmy was killed by a rush of Wildmen fans during overtime while taking up his duty performing the unglamorous work to support the more skillful players en route to the championship.
Eastern Conf Champ 2003, 2 SPPs, 1 CAS, 14 Blocks, 6 Downs, 15 Stands
Shawn was a late round Krush pick who helped the Mutineers on way to their eventual title though his run was ended in the semi finals when an horrific foul from Fookalite crushed what remained of his cranium . That skull had been well dented over the season, as evidenced by being joint 4th for stands in the season. Shawn was the first player to die in the post-season.
Elron "Blessed" Hands
Brian O'Hanrahanrahan: Wildmen
Elron was the first coaching fatality the league has seen. He served the Dolts loyally under three different head coaches across a season and a half before he was flattened by one of his own players, "Rob's" Gay Dad after he were pushed into the dug-out during a game against the Wildmen.
Alec von Tasslebine
All-East 2003, 19 SPPs, 2 MVP, 9 CMP from 13 Attempts for 30 Yards, 17 Rushes for 47 Yards, 23 Blocks, 10 Downs, 1 Tackle, 7 Dodges, 7 Falls, 17 Stands, 15 Fumbles
A good player with the misfortune to be captain of a distinctly average team, Alec was the leading passer in the Eastern Conference during 2003. The Mercenaries team of 2003 was the worst in the league so Alec was on the receiving end of too many hits as evidenced by his Conference high fumbling. The brutal high tackle by Luke proved just one hit too many.
Sami "The Hoop"
Zzharg Zzhargson: Mutineers
Championship 2003, Western Conf Champ 2003, Most Receptions 2003, Most Rec Att 2003, Most Rec Yards 2003, All-Pro 2003, 22 SPPs, 6 TDs, 2 CAS, 10 Rushes for 87 Yards, 8 Rec from 9 Att for 48 Yards, 40 Blocks, 28 Downs, 1 Tackle, 5 Dodges, 4 Falls, 12 Stands, 5 Fumbles
By far and away the most successful player to have been killed in the line of duty to this point. Sami was the leading receiver in the 2003 season and was part of the Championship winning Mugaz team that year. The Norse Catcher made the All-Pro XI for 2003. He was killed during a brutal game against the Mutineers after being decapitated by Zzharg Zzhargson while trying to get downfield for yet another reception.
1 Ref Award, 1 Sending Off
The first referee to be killed in the line of duty, Grimlot was in his second season as an official when he was ripped apart during violence from the fans of the Revengers' Tragedy.
Viryvan von Sted
3 Blocks, 1 Dodge, 1 Fall
One of the worst players the league has ever seen, Viryvan's stats speak for themselves. Brought in as a 12th man, he only made it to his second game thanks to Apothecary intervention after being flattened by a Mutineers fan in his first. His second was his last thanks to the ancient brutality of Mumraaah. Viryvan's record of 14 turns on the pitch in a career may never be lowered.
Mr Wildman: Wildmen
2 SPPs, 1 CAS, 7 Blocks, 4 Downs, 6 Stands, 1 Fall, 1 Rec for 1 Yard, 1 Fumble
A player who despite constant efforts to bring him into play was never blessed with enough talent to make any difference to a game of Blood Bowl. Finest moment arrived with a casualty against the All-Stars. Lowest moment had to be being eaten by a Troll.
Kaneris N'Gillthrog: All-Stars
5 SPPs, 1 MVP, 1 Rush for 4 Yards, 3 Dodges, 1 Fall, 2 Stands, 2 Blocks
A player never trusted or liked by his coach due to ugliness, "Roy's" Mum's moment of glory came when he managed to tough it out as one of only four players who kept on the pitch for the duration of a match against the Mutineers. Is currently still being cleaned off Fabien Fields following a disgusting block from Kaneris
