Team Stupidity 1-3 Hotspur Hacks

The second match in the ADF East saw the Hotspur Hacks travelling to Stupidity Stadium where both sides will have been aware of the Punchers emphatic victory to open the Conference. Neither Stupidity nor the Hacks have any prior form, and the squads on display in this match were all rookies.

The game itself ended up being fairly one-sided in terms of the scoreline but Team Stupidity showed a physicality that the other ADF East teams may struggle to compete with. From the opening kick-off, the Hacks were on the attack. A nice passing combination between catchers Scoop Sopwith and Valentine Kelly saw Kelly, an Amazon, burst unimpeded into the end zone for a very early score. Stupidity appeared to be less prepared than their opponents, their own drive in response ending swiftly and concluding in a touchdown for Scoop Sopwith. The 2-0 scoreline remained until the break The second period was far closer as the weight of the Stupidity blocking game began to take its toll. Top Krush pick Cuddles the Minotaur Blocker led by example with a couple of casualties but Stupidity continued to find it difficult to move the ball. Another score for Kelly put the game beyond doubt but that was not quite the end of the game. The home side continued to focus on blocking and managed to reduce their opponents to just three active players on the pitch. Somewhat satisfied with their day's work, a bit of ball action allowed blitzer Pedwino Girlie-Man to register a consolation score.

The visitors showed decent medical preparation, managing to patch up the squad fully despite taking 4 casualties. Team Stupidity entered the game without SuperDave "The Awesome" who was injured in practice.
