The first ever cross-conference match for Team Stupidity drew the arrival of the Boxer Rebellion. Stupidity have established themselves early on as a team dedicated to the infliction of punishment and that paid dividends in week two with a first win, against the Picklebury Panthers. The Boxer Rebellion are a franchise that have still not recorded a win in either their previous guise as The Gadfathers or during the first couple of weeks. The week two result was a narrow loss to PAIN Corp.
The game opened with a challenge to the home team as the first casualty on the board was Fred "Sacrificial Lamb" Lewis as the Lineman was taken out by his opposite number "Groaning" Greg. The Stupidity response was to halt the Rebellion's attack as Cuddles the Minotaur repeatedly laid into a succession of ball carriers but despite three tackles he was not able to stop a tide of lime green attackers and eventually it was the 2005 ADF North player's player of the year, "Not In The Bomb Squad" Barry who made the crucial burst and crossed the line for the opening score. Stupidity failed to make much of the ball in the rest of the half but did rack up three casualties in the half.
The trend contined in the second period with Team Stupidity unable to move the ball and being punished by Vampire Lord Khunt who scooped up a backfield fumble to turn it into a quick fire score and a 2-0 lead. It was the first touchdown for the 2006 first overall pick in Da Krush. While the response from the home team was primarily physical, adding two more casualties to their list, Stupidity finally got their rushing game going when Eduardo was set up with a simple score to end the game with a consolation.
A first ever win for the Rebellion franchise will do much to build morale while Team Stupidity will be pleased with continuing to inflict a series of casualties again.
