Team Stupidity 2-0 Picklebury Panthers

Another 50,000 sell out saw 24,000 fans excluded from the week two clash between the two teams propping up the ADF East, the Panthers and Stupidity. With both teams having lost the first time out, their camps will have been eager to show significant improvement.

The match featured the same brutal tactics that Stupidity employed against the Hacks, focussing heavily on their blocking game and inflicting casualties upon their opponents. It was a tactic that only just worked in the first period. The Panthers showed decent resistance throughout, trading a single casualty apiece for much of the first half and holding out defensively until a surprise pass from SuperDave "The Awesome" set Willy Thompson free to run the ball in and put Team Stupidity in the lead of a match for the first time.

It was a lead that they did not squander thanks to a well-timed blitz to start the second period. A series of knockouts and casualties reduced the Panthers numbers and they were unable to hold onto the ball under the intense physical pressure. They never saw the ball again as Team Stupidity powered their way upfield with SuperDave taking up possession and his support players removing any possibility of defence by removing the defensive players from the field until just three active players saw SuperDave cross the line for the second score of the game and Team Stupidity's first ever victory.

The Panthers managed a mere 8 yards of rushing during the match.

Veteran Panthers and former Dolts player Rob "Bitch" Lanc will miss the upcoming match against Pain Corp with a broken foot sustained during the game.
