The quarter final match-up between the number 2 seeded Allstars and the wilcards from the ADF North was not anticipated to be a close game. The Bomb Squad had done well to beat out the Punchers in the Wildcard Round but the Allstars had been undefeated in the regular season and were heavy favourites for the game. The first half of the match suggested that the bookies odds had been drawn correctly. The Bomb Squad defence seemingly toothless and unable to prevent Aenarion Swift taking in a score. It got worse for the visitors at the next kick off when Mom'Ra jumped the start and was sent off for an illegal block. The home team capitalised by bursting through the Bomb ranks, turning the ball over and rushing through opposition territory where Jack Hour took hold of a hand-off in the endzone.
Despite the Allstars dominance in the first period, they were not as imposing in the second. Bert Slay surprisingly was able to slip through the ADA West side's defence thanks to a stumble from Kaneris N'Gillthrog. The score from Slay gave the Squad hope that a comeback might be on. The Allstars seemed a little shellshocked and went nowhere on their next drive. They could not make the holes that had been so easy to create earlier and were forced sideways. A fumbled pass attempt by Eiowol Talinne gave the Bomb Squad an opportunity but the ball squirmed free once more and into the hands of Thaleus Thunderarm. The High Elf veteran could do nothing with it before being tackled by Slinky who had a shot at the endzone but his attempts to slip free of markers were unsuccessful and he crashed to the ground with his team knocked out of the post-season. The Allstars advance to the semi finals.
Aenarion Swift has now Rushed 50 times for 400 yards. Howie Zarr put the ball in the air for his 100th career Passing Yard. Freddy Brewski now 100 career Blocks to his name. Seef-Orr and Kaneris N'Gillthrog both slipped to their 10th career Fall. Verkampf "Rat Destroyer" and Grak Hedsplitta have now been on the field for 500 Turns
