The two sides chasing The Darkstalkers in the ADA East met at The Cell where the home side hold a reasonable record against the Mutineers with a win, draw, and a loss to their name. Having only narrowly overcome the Fabienettes, improvement would be needed for the Dolts but so too could be said for the visitors who were only able to register a draw in their opening match against the Darkstalkers.
It was the Dolts who started strongest, forming up into a tight cage from which Norse Blitzer Grunthor seriously injured Toxix the Wight ahead of a Bounding Leap from Dolts star player Salina Black. The move looked perfect but not to referee Ike Smiley who called an Illegal Procedure penalty that allowed the Mutineers to narrowly escape but only after a fumble from Gunnar Gunnarsson let Black in for a second time to reach as far as the one yard line. Managing to secure the ball finally, a combination of Savogand Thrall and Gunnar Gunnarsson ran the ball back the length of the field to open the scoring just moments before the half-time break.
Though it wasn't clear what was said at the half, Thrall refused to come back out for the second period leaving the visitors with just 10 players to take the field. The Dolts were able to take advantage through Black who stretched her streak of games with a touchdown to 4. With most eyes on the play, Ernesto Boost was able to use his secret weapon to chop his Skaven opponent into the apothecary's room though Boost was sent off shortly afterwards.
With the game on a knife-edge, a mass invasion took place that ruined the visitors defensive formations and badly hurt a player on each side. Thanks to their own fans intervention, the Mutineers had no deep defence to overcome and Goblin Fester Rustblade took advantage for the score.
Boa Dicea, Kotek Gorefest, and Joanie Brawler of the Mutineers all missed the match due to niggling injuries. Snurg "The Great" has reportedly now peaked.
Salina Black became the second player to reach 500 rushing yards in a career during this match. Fester Rustblade's 10th career touchdown saw him move past 100 rushing yards while Gunnar Gunnarsson now has over 200 career rushing yards. Ernesto Boost's fifth sending off sees him match Kirk Angel at the top of the list for most sent off.
