The Panzerbourne met the Principals in week 1 and it was a defensive struggle. Neither team was able to do much damage offensively and the game was decided by a single touchdown. The scorer for the Principals inevitably was Rudolf Nureyev though Mr Darcy was the first Principals player to threaten - a Pit Trap putting paid to the High Elf's scoring effort.
Legoland missed what as a brutal match for the home team with a niggling injury. Reigning two-time Most Violent Player Bubba Ho-Tep will be out until week 4 with a fractured skull thanks to the most violent kick off seen so far in the league. The one casualty caused by the home side was curtesy of a rock thrown in from the crowd but the visiting fans were equally aggressive, hurting a Lurved up Rt Hon Michael Howard.
Rudolf Nureyev's score was the 20th of his career. Jonny Gloom has now thrown 100 career Blocks.
