The Cell was once an intimidating and brutal state penetentiary but was left to rot when it was closed down in 1973. Following re-opening, it is still in disrepair but the fortified bars and holding cells that surround the pitch and make for excellent viewing for fans. With some work, the stadium may one day recover its former glory.
